This little girl was so excited when it was finally her turn to go to school. She is bummed that she does not get to ride a bus there, but she still loves it. Kynlee is such a sweet happy girl, we love her so much. She is a great big sister to the babes, and she brings us so much joy.

Holyoak Reunion
We had lots of fun at the Holyoak family reunion this year. There was good food, family time, and fun games. This web crossing was a big hit, even Dad got in on the action.
This hammock was a big hit, I think it even had all of the girl cousins in it at one time.
The slack line was super fun.
And the zip line was the main event!!!
S'mores are always fun, and camping wouldn't be the same without them.
We did have quite a time trying to get to church on Sunday. We got everyone ready and we thought we left with enough time to get to church, but the second time we stopped to clean up puke I was trying to help one of the babes and I slipped out of the truck and bashed my shin and my knee on the running board. As I was curled up on the side of the road in pain I started to think that we were not going to make it to church on time. I managed to only get a tiny bit of blood on my skirt, and even with one more puke stop we did make it to the building on time. However we had to spend a few minutes in the bathroom cleaning up children so we had to walk in late. Luckily there were no more puking incidents the rest of the weekend and everyone had a good time.
Accomplishment!!!
You see that world map hanging up behind our table? Carson and I made it!!!! It is even larger than it looks in the picture.
It was my Olympics project. I needed a project that I could work on while I watched the Olympics so I wouldn't feel guilty about watching them rather than working on the many projects that we need to do in other parts of our house. I used an exacto knife to cut out the map while I watched, and even though my hand was numb for a day, I am so happy with how the map turned out. Carson also hung up my new light fixture, and since the Olympics have ended we have worked on redoing the kitchen cabinets. I can't wait to show the before and after pictures, but they will have to wait until the hinges we ordered come in.
On another note, I am so sad the summer Olympics are over and wont be back for another 4 years. I really love the Olympics. I have special memories of watching them with my Mom and Megan. One of the last conversatoins I had with my Mom was a funny little conversation we had about the Olympics just a week or 2 before she died. I love watching the athletes, who have worked their whole lives at their sport, accomplish great things in front of the whole world. The whole event makes me so happy.
Cookout
The other day we got to go to the mountains for a hot dog roast with Nathan and Tonya and their girls. It's always fun to get together with family and to enjoy the great outdoors, plus our kids always love any chance to play in the dirt.
